Have you been diagnosed with endomitriosis? Polycystic Ovaries?

This is really something that you need to follow up with your OB/GYN.

It's not unusual to have an off period. One that is very short, or very long, completely missed, two in one month. You get my drift. ;)

If you are not experiencing any unusual discharge, fever or pain. Most likely this was just an unusual period.

Without insurance your options are very limited at this point. There are several tests that will need to be run in order to find out exactly what your diagnosis is and how to treat it properly to ensure a healthy pregnancy.

Pregnancy and delivery are very expensive for a simple healthy pregnancy. Add any complications and the cost increases dramatically.

Endometriosis can indeed be hereditary. However, from what you posted about the CT results, I am more inclined to believe it may be PCOS. Your symptoms seem to fit.

Again, though, without insurance, this will be costly for you. It will be even more costly should you become pregnant as that would put you in a high risk category.

If you can't get insurance through your work, or your husbands work, is there a chance you could look into getting private insurance?

There isn't much you can do besides eating a healthy diet, regular exercise and maintaining a healthy weight.

Your husbands insurance would be less costly than private insurance. Once baby comes, who will provide the insurance? Pediatricians visits with vaccinations can cost upwards of $200 a visit. There can be several visits per month.

I understand you wanting to have a baby, I really do. But you have to think this through with not just your heart, but with your head and your bank account in mind.

One thousand per month? Just delivering a baby is upwards of three to four thousand dollars. That's just the hospital bill, not the prenatal care or care of the child after it is born.

    Just food for thought.
