Old Murray Rider Parts Diagram ?
I need a parts diagram for an older Murray rider for ball joint replacement, blade drive belt size, etc. I can't seem to find one on this older model and I would appreciate it if anyone can help.
It has and 18 hp Briggs Twin II and a 42" deck.
    Model # 8-38222 ( On back of mower )
Date Code 3957 ( On back of mower )
On the engine shroud it says:
    Model # 422707
    Type- 1507 01
    Code- 87101612
Once again, thanks for any help on this.

    Hi,
You say a 42" deck and give tha model number for a 1988 machine with a 38" deck. Your Date Code cannot be correct since it says it was made in 1987 on the 395th day of the year (only 365 possible.) You do indeed have a 42 cu. in. Briggs opposed Twin II that was made on October 16, 1987.
Take this link and go toward the bottom to the model listed as 88-38222 to get the parts manual.
