Worried
I had a lot of unprotected sex a month ago. My period came three weeks later. I took 8 tests 6 before it came and two after and they all came out negative. Should I be worried?

You are not pregnant. But you will be if you continue having unprotected sex. Either stop having sex or get on reliable birth control. Insist that your partner always use a condom to avoid HIV, aids, hepatitis and other STDs . Get checked for STDs immediately.

Are you worried because you are concerned about the possibility of pregnancy, or are you worried about having negative test results and you are trying to get pregnant?
If you had your period about the time you expected, then you are likely not pregnant. Very few women will test positive before a period, it happens with an early ovulation and sensitive testing, but it is not the norm. Most will need to be about 2 weeks passed ovulation, if they ovulate around the average time frame; later for those women who tend to ovulate later in their cycle.
See what happens when you would expect your next period. In the meantime, be sure to use appropriate birth control if you are wanting to lessen the likelihood of an unplanned pregnancy. If you are wanting to be pregnant, then continue as you have been with having a lot of unprotected sex. It may happen the next month, it may happen in 8 months, or more, but sooner or later it likely will. Also, if that it the case, it would be wise to make any lifestyle changes that you know would be healthy so that you can start a pregnancy in good health.

I'm worried that it was negative. I mean at first I was OK but then I got worried that I wasn't I thought there was something wrong with me. I was expecting one to start my family with my husband, then I tried the test and it came out negative again we tried many times I'm confused. Is there something wrong with me?

Nothing wrong with you except your are taking all the fun out of trying to make a baby. Relax and have some fun trying.
Good Luck.

It is important to remember that it can take many months for some women to become pregnant... even when everything is just fine. Some will become pregnant within the first few months of trying, many others will find it takes much longer.
Timing is only part of it, albeit a very important part, as you can only get pregnant if you happen to have sperm present when you ovulate. Add to that, an egg is only capable of being fertilized for about 24 hours and sperm will only survive long enough to do the job when you are close to ovulation.
To put this all into perspective, doctors usually only consider any sort of testing until a couple have been actively trying for at least a year... about 6 months if you are 35 or older.
If you are having regular periods, and you and your husband are in good health, odds are there is nothing preventing you from conceiving.

Infertility is it even a consideration until you have tried and failed to get pregnant for at least. Year. Relax and it will happen when it happens.

I would be worried if I didn't get pregnant after six to eight months at any age. I've been infertile since I was 24 but didn't know it. I tried fertility treatments then but didn't pursue it seriously.
If your insurance will pay for the treatments, I'd take advantage it while you still can. I recently spent four years of IVF treatments before we had our twins.
I have two friends who had irregular periods who took fertility drugs. They didn't get pregnant while taking the medication but it made them fertile and normalized their periods. They subsequently had three kids without any help afterwards.
I hope this helps.

One month of trying does not by Any stretch indicate infertility.

I will say first, stop testing before the period. It is almost worthless and a waste of time and worry. If you miss a period, then test in two week for a better test, all the early tests just cause stress.
Next it can take a healthy couple over a year to conceive sometimes.
Next why "something wrong with you"? Has the man been tested for sperm count, is he using a hot tub too much, is he wearing very tight underwear, all those can lower conception.
Are you tracking ovulation ( not some silly online chart) but medically checking to properly time sex.
