Air in lines from point well.
I recently replaced my 25 foot deep point well. I am experiencing a lot of air in my plumbing lines. I have drained the bladder type pressure tank and refilled it, run the cold water 'til I thought all the air was out only to have the air start surging again. I checked the amount of water in the 1&1/4" well pipe and found ten feet of water. The check valve and the 1/2 horse pump are new.

Check all your pipe connections again. You possibly have a small leak and are sucking air. When the pump shuts off, does the system hold pressure or does the gauge slowly drop?
