    Baytown TX Plumbing Codes
I have a major problem in my house with pipes leaking at the joints for no reason. My home is 7 years old bought new. I have now had 2 leaks, one of which caused major water damage to my walls, carpet. A reputable plumbing repair company has repaired both leaks now. He did tell me back in Nov. 2013 it was a matter of time before another leak occurred. The plumber is telling me the wrong type pipe glue was used with no primer. I have 1/2 inch CPVC pipe in the attic for water lines. Can you tell me what type of glue I should see.. color etc? The pipe color is a cream color.

I am meeting with my insurance adjuster this Wed. How should I approach this? I cannot afford to have another leak with damage like last week.

Oh and I did notify the builder of the problem.

Depending on the brand it should be orange or golden. What did the builder have to say? I'd get at least one or two more plumbers to come to the same conclusion before contacting an attorney to sue the sub contractor.
