    Pork and Islam.
    Assalamu Alaikum Varah....

Dear brother I have one question. If I wrong please forgive me.

In Quran Allah said pork is haram. In whole quran he didnt criticized about pork once and only message is haram Even prophet also didnt criticize that, but i heard one Hadiz Allah telling something means we didnt criticize that we must believe al araf verse 31. One of my friends told me about the video about pork you criticized that scientifically it will create worm in stomach and it will reduce immunity, brain, gene even if heat 104 something degree farenheit it ll not destroy.

Now my question is 1.If we heat above certain temp to destroy before we take pork what will happen? 2.In china major food is pork they are keep the place of first in population, talent, hard working everything.

Sorry if i make mistake please forgive me as your brother....

Pork is considered an "unclean animal" in the three major religions. It has nothing to do with new science methods, has nothing to do with cooking methods.

Those that follow Islam in China do not eat pork, they eat plenty of Chicken, ( actually that much much fish, at least in Zhengzhou) Islamic restaurants in China are famous for good food because they follow proper Islamic food rules.

You need to accept the food teachings, and not attempt to justify them.

Why Pork is Forbidden in Islam (All parts) - The Religion of Islam

The Chinese and other religions follow their own ways. You should follow the way of your religion. Or find one that you want to follow.

On the food safety point... pork is perfectly safe to eat if its cooked to a correct temprature (just like chicken needs to be ) because while not every animal might carry what they do (salmonella for chicken) (Trichinosis, for pork) you can't know which ones do.
Any issues have to do with the religious prohibitions, not with food safety. Personally I'm glad mine doesn't prohibit it because it tastes really good.

But you have to do what you believe in.

I will also, note, since it specifically mentioned China, the follows of Islam in China do not eat pork, and follow the dietary practices very carefully. And at least central China chicken is the most eaten food, not pork anyway. In more Northwest, and outside the larger city in North, Mutton (sheep) is more popular meat.

Also there are those in China, who follow Buddhist practice that do not eat any meat at all, and do very well because there are lots of other proteins available in the markets.

And Muslims and Christians get along very well here. I am invited to many of their celebrations and events. None of them eat pork.
