A shifting linkage for a 1999 ford taurus
What should I do if the nut is tight. But its not shifting still. The same thing happened to my car on Saturday, I can still drive it, but I have to pop the hood and change my gears from under there. And yesturday my car started to leak transmition fluid. Now my car is empty of the tranny fluid. I don't think that those two things are linked but the leak looks like its coming from the front left of my car. I have a 1999 v6 3.0 ford taurus, its automatic and its doing the same thing as the question that someone else asked. What should I do?? My mothers boyfriend is looking at it and he estamates the part will probable be around 180$ we are unsure at the moment. We are still trying to figure out what the part is that caused this issue!!
