    Diverter valve
I would like to plumb in a diverter valve that will direct tub spigot water flow to a handheld sprayer by turning on the handheld. No manual valve action required

That means a whole new valve in most cases. I have install some valves that were made to work both ways but the shower pipe was capped. If yours is like that you may be in luck. Do you know what valve you have?

I was washing the dishes and when I went to press to spray nozzle, no water came out. Then when I went to use the faucet, no water came out as well. I think this may have to do with the diverter in the spray nozzle? What are your thoughts? And how do you remove the spray nozzle?
