I was on the Depo Shot and didn't go take my last shot in July as I was not sexually active anymore. However on December 10th I had a little period and it lasted about 3-4 days. I was intimate on December 12th and December 13th but I used a condom for a little bit on the first event but he took it off and he couldn't even stay fully erect and it didn't last long either event. He didn't even finish. I began spotting on December 24th and it lasted about 4-5 days. I was told to count that as a period. I took a pregnancy test on Dec 24th because it had only been 10 days since my LMP but it came out negative. Usually when I was having a period before the Depo I would have a period every 3 weeks and lasted only 3 days. On January 7th, 8th, 10th and 13th I was intimate with my ex boyfriend that I have been on and off with for a year. He finished every time, but I didn't think anything of it. I know this sounds horrible and I am embarrassed. I took a hpt on the 20th of January and it was negative even though I thought I saw a super super super super faint positive, but everyone else said it was my mind playing tricks on me. On January 28th I went to the dr for stomach pain and they did a blood test. It came back positive. I went and bought another hpt and within seconds it was positive as well. They took my HCG levels and I was at 1146 on Jan 28th which put me at about 4/5 weeks. I had my first trans-vaginal u/s on January 30th and was told It was still too soon and too small to be able to take measurements and my HCG was at 2860. The tech told me she was going to put my LMP as December 24th. However I went back to the OB Triage on Feb 3rd and they took my levels and she said I was in the 9000's. They did another trans-vaginal ultrasound and she said the same thing its too soon, but the sac measured 5 weeks and 1 day but there is no fetal pole and she can't see anything else. They want me to go back in 2-3 days to retest and another ultrasound. They won't even give me a due date yet. On Feb 4th my levels measured in the 13,000's and my trans vaginal u/s measured me at 5wks 4 days. On Feb 9th they tested my levels again but they didn't state what they were and said everything looked fine. It seems that nothing matches up with any of the dates and I have only been with my ex for the last year until recently in December with someone else but that was the only time. They can't find anything with an abdominal ultrasound so they always have done a trans-vaginal. Is it possible that man b (January) is the father or is it safe to assume I was already pregnant? Or are 1st trimester ultrasounds pretty accurate at determining conception date? Any info to help ease my mind is greatly appreciated!

Transvaginal ultrasounds are pretty accurate, however, you will still need to have a DNA test after the baby is born to determine paternity.

I agree, will really need DNA test to verify. While testing good, they are not exact
