    Will not start
    Hello, I have a 2001 dodge 1/2 ton pickup with a v-8 motor. Never had a problem out of it. 3 months ago I bought a van so the truck has been parked in front of my house. Every 2 weeks I start and drive it as to keep everything oiled and lubed, even turn on the ac for the seals in compressor. Just like clock work 2 weeks ago I went through my normal routine, and went on vacation. I get back and go to start the truck and all it does is turn over. Can somebody tell what might be the problem?

    . Check for codes and pending codes with an advanced scan tool.

    . Check all under hood and under dash fuses with a test light or multimeter.

    . Verify that the CEL comes on and then goes out, when the ignition switch is turned to ON.

    . Verify that the fuel pump runs, when the ignition switch is turned to ON.

    . Check for spark.

    Ensure that you have installed only Champion spark plugs. I've seen other spark plug brands prevent Dodge trucks from starting. MAP Sensors have also been problematic on Dodge trucks.
