    Florida Mobile Home Insurance
Having difficulty finding insurance to cover my recently purchased 1977 mobile home without the necessity of costly inspections and outrageous premiums. Also finding companies won't provide contents insurance unless you are renting. Can I transfer title to my own LLC and then rent from it as a way to obtain coverage?

I do not think the LLC will work, but of course you can try,

And a 1977 mobile home is normally in pretty bad shape, ( not saying yours is) with wiring issues and other problems.

I would assume contents coverage is going to be extremely high also, based on the fact they are in the mobile home

Almost 40 years old. I can understand their point, particularly in FL. What is the value of the MH vs land? MH's are depreciating assets, just like cars. In addition, you would possibly be asked to take a higher deductible than what the MH is worth.
