    Changed out oil pump new primary... thought transformer was the problem... opened it
    Opened transformer and gave the burner wheel rite under the electrodes a little jog closed it up hit reset button and it fired rite up for about 15 seconds then flame went back out then u can feel a slight hum coming from the burner motor...

    If you've changed the pump & primary I would suspect the motor. Is the motor kind of stiff when you turn the fan by hand? If so, just to make sure the pump to motor coupling isn't too long, loosen the pump & pull it 1/8 - 1/4" away from the burner body, reset the primary & see what happens. If you still have the same problem, I'd suspect the motor.
