    Low pressure in faucet.
My Kitchen sink faucet has very low pressure. I have unscrewed the supply lines and tested them, they are fine. I have found that when I pinch the sprayer line, the faucet pressure increases. I want to be able to use both but have good pressure in both (not too much to ask!). The faucet is only 3 years old... suggestions?
**main line to faucet enters from the left into a sideways T connector (the base of the T). Then the faucet goes up and the sprayer comes out of the bottom of the side-T.
I'd like to NOT buy a whole new faucet unless I need to. Thanks

Remove the aerator to start and clean that (at end of spout or spray). If that fails, then the issue could be the spray diverter, but to get to that you will need a parts diagram of your faucet. For that, you contact the manufacturer and ask them to e-mail you the specification sheet/parts diagram and then access the spray diverter.

Start with the aerator and then post back if that failed to help (a brand name would help to tell you more), OK?

Low water pressure in faucets and showers has become a daily routine nowadays. Water lines coming from the municipal supply are larger and have a greater diameter. But lines that go from your house to the main municipal lines have smaller diameters. When water travels through all these lines, it experiences a lot of friction from the walls of the pipes. It could be the reason.

I am work so I do not have the name of faucet.
I have cleaned and removed the aerator. As I said - Im almost positive there is something with the hose. When I clamp the sprayer hose, I get good pressure from the faucet.

The hose can't really be the problem as much as the spray diverter can, OK?

    Like I said,
If that fails, then the issue could be the spray diverter, but to get to that you will need a parts diagram of your faucet. For that, you contact the manufacturer and ask them to e-mail you the specification sheet/parts diagram and then access the spray diverter
    .

Here, the spray diverter may be stuck in a half open position...it is under the body of the valve or the diverter of the faucet (why you need parts diagram). I'd contact the company and have them send you a new spray diverter if they agree with my assessment...;)

    Good luck!

Awesome! Will do that. Thanks so much for your help!

PS - is that something difficult or pretty simple to correct?

Not a tough job once you have the parts sheet!
