    2004 grandam, security system keeps going off for no reason won't shut off
    I have a 2004 grandam and the security system keeps going off for no reason at all. It does it while its parked and shut off. It runs the battery dead every time. What could make this happen? It has the v6 motor in it.

    Possible short. Need to have an electrical check done. In the meantime, disconnect the alarm module by pulling the fuses and /or relay.

    After pulling the fuses or relay will the car still run an operate fine? Thank you for your time

    Unless you have an anti theft interlock, the car will run fine. Try it first and see.

    Look in your owners manual for relay and fuse layout.
