    Car got repossessed. Now what.
    Car got repossessed a few months back. Family bought me an older car. Should I put it in my name or someone else's? Can they come get it to repay the debt in the original car?

    No, they can not just come get a older car to pay the debt.

    They can get a judgement against you ( if they have not yet) and can garnish your paycheck in most places.
    Has any repayment plan been arranged.
