I've been friends with this girl now for over 2 years. We are both 15 and we go to the same high school. I really like her and she says she really likes me but doesn't want a relationship . I have talked to her friends about it and they say it is the truth and that she does actually like me. She has also told my best friend that she wants to go out with me but doesn't feel ready. I have been waiting patiently for over 4 months now and nothing has changed. She says that the last person she liked ditched her and now she doesn't want to go through that again. Every time we walk past each other we always smile or wave at each other, we don't talk very much in person which I think could help if I got to know her better. I really do like this girl and I think she is telling the truth, but what should I do. I think we should talk more and find out more about each other which is why she is unsure but Please help me, and how I could improve my friendship with her. :/

Talk to her more, get to know her as a friend, not a girlfriend.

At 15, she sounds very mature about relationships. She is not ready for a relationship and you need to respect that. It is also possible that her parents won't let her date at this age.

Why the rush for a relationship?

What's stopping you from talking to her as a friend? Forget a relationship, just friends and see what happen.

Thanks for the help, I will defiantly try this. I wasn't sure if she was leading me on or not.
