    virginia law on abandonment without children
    If a spouse wants to leave and take personal belongings with her can her spouse stop her from leaving and taking them?

    No. Any spouse is allowed to walk out of a marriage. Most states have no fault divorces that are fairly easy to obtain, especially if there are no children or assets to split.
