    Why when pump cuts off at 40psi but pressure climbs to over 100+
    Pump cuts on at 20 psi cuts off at 40 psi the pressure climbs to 100+ with the pump motor off?

    Very strange, tell us more. How long has this been going on? Have you made any changes to your water system recently?
