    Different states child support
I'm from Colorado, I've been paying child support of 413 dollars a month on 3 children, one of the children is not mine. My question is I live in Tennessee now, not making much money but Colo. is squeezing me dry on money I don't have and will not modify my petition on changing the amount. Can I have this changed in the state I'm in now, and if not what do I do? Down and out.

I assume the mother and children are still in CO. That means CO has jurisdiction and any requests for modification have to go through the CO system.

How were you saddled with a child that isn't yours? What have you done to petition for a modification?

What do you mean by this:

I don't have and will not modify my petition on changing the amount.
    You don't have what?
Are you saying you refuse to go back to court in Colorado?

The full quote was: "but Colo. is squeezing me dry on money I don't have and will not modify my petition on changing the amount". The "I don't have" was clearly referring to what CO was squeezing from him. But we do need to know what petition he refers to.
