A man over 18 kissed me and I'm only 13, what do I do?
I look like I'm at least 17, or at least that's what everyone says. Anyway, I need help! A guy walking on the sidewalk near me started up some friendly chatter with me and I talked with him, then when I said I had to go, he kissed my cheek and neck! Help?

I'm not sure what you need help with. Do you know this man? If not, how do you know his age?

What did you do when he kissed your cheek? Does he know how old you are or did you lie about your age?

You posted this in the law forum, so what is it that you want to do about this? Charge him with kissing you on the cheek?

No, I did not know this man. He appeared to be over 18

I said, "I don't like that, please stop." And he let me go.

I posted it here because I didn't know where else to put it. I just joined.

So what advice are you looking for exactly? I don't really see a question. You yourself said you look 17, even though you're 13. You started talking to a stranger on the street, he kissed your cheek, you told him to stop and he did.

    So what's the question?

Should I tell my parents, I guess, is the question. I'm worried he might do it to some other girl/woman and get arrested. I don't want him to go any farther with me or any other female.

Yes, tell your parents. And you listen to what they say in general, not just about him.
What you do is stay away from him. If you see him, cross the street.
You don't need to be polite when a man touches you - don't even say 'please.'
Push him away as you run away, and just say DON'T.

You and I and everyone have all been taught to be nice to people, and it isn't easy to change for certain circumstances. He doesn't need to know that you didn't like it. He doesn't need to be asked.

You did fine. Now do whatever it takes to tone down your looks. I KNOW girls want to look older, but don't, and no tight and revealing clothes, OK?
Now you know what an enticement a pretty 13 year old can be, and it can be dangerous.
Girls are walking down streets and suddenly thrown into back seats of cars and never seen again.

Thank you. Should I tell my parents about this? I'm worried he might do it to another girl or woman if I don't.

As was already said, yes, tell your parents.

He isn't breaking any laws. He can't go any further with you. You will probably never see him again, and if you do you walk the other way, go into a store, ignore him, whatever. Tell your parents but I don't know what purpose it will solve. It was not a sexual attack, but why did you stand there and let him go as far as kissing your neck?

By telling your parents, it isn't going to stop him from kissing another woman. It was NOT a sexual attack.

I'm not so sure this couldn't be considered a sexual assault. Just a kiss on the cheek, may have been innocent enough but on the neck too takes it to another level. Also what total stranger kisses someone, even on the cheek?

Not only should you tell your parents, but I think you should also go to the police. It may have been innocent enough with you, but he may have dome this to others. The police need to know about it.

I think there is more to this then OP lets on. Why would a young girl stand and talk to someone they don't know, and then let him kiss her cheek and neck? Even someone younger then she would be aware of what is going on and just walk away from the incident.

Something does not ring true here.
