Hey, please, someone help me? i came to the united states in a tourism visa to meet my boyfriend and travel and he proposed, so, i got 3 months when i arrived, i still have 2, what should i do ? when should we get marriage and when should i fill the forms? Is easier I fill the forms and send before my visa tourism visa expires right, but i heard about the 30/60/90 days rule, so if i send that after 60 days can they acuse me of visa fraud? Thank you so much ( plus my boyfriend is far from rich, my father will pay everything to help us from brazil, as he was paying all my trip

To change status after you enter US as a visitor is doable but not for everyone. First, make sure if he is qualified to sponsor you. He must have income of 125% of poverty guidelines and have filed tax return for the past 3 years, and must not have any domestic abuse charges on his record, plus you must be able to establish evidence of relationship prior to marriage, etc. Consult experienced immigration attorney before getting married. Your boyfriend is a U.S. citizen, right?

If at the time you entered the U.S. you had intention of staying and applying for adjustment of status here, that would be visa fraud. But it sounds like you decided to stay after something unexpected happened while in the U.S. (you were proposed to). So that is not fraud. However, there is still risk of rejection.

The "30/60/90 day rule" is not a real rule. The important thing is intention when you entered, not how long after you enter that you get married or file for AOS. But the idea is that the more time between when you entered and when you get married, the more believable it is that you unexpectedly changed your mind while here.

After you get married, you should file as soon as you get all the documents ready. The main forms are I-130 and I-485, and optionally but recommended also I-765 and I-131. Each form has many supporting forms and documents; it's too much to get into detail here. As lawanwadee said, your (then-)husband will need to fill out an Affidavit of Support. If he does not have enough income, you guys will need to find someone else (who is a U.S. citizen or permanent resident living in the U.S.) to be joint sponsor and fill out another Affidavit of Support.
