    Frigidaire Dryer Belt for GLEH1642DS Combo
    I have a new bought as is combo washer and dryer, the part that held the drum to the back came off, which broke the belt, I have got the drum back on but cannot figure how to get the belt back on and tightened, it won't tighten, please help?:confused:

    If it is new wouldn't this be covered by warranty? The belt should have a tensioner pulley on an arm with a spring.

    It does not have a warranty it was bought as is by my land lord, It does have a pulley that works as a tensioner but it won't tension or I have the belt incorrectly, so I cannot figure it out

    The tensioner should pull in the direction of the drum as opposed to away from it. The spring must be attached to create the tension.
