What do you mean keep getting password? What makes you say you aren't getting mail?

They have installed more security checks. Sometimes they generate a unique-one time code which they email to you, and you have to enter that number before you can proceed. And you can't access the number because you can't get into your email, at least not in outlook. Then they give other "codes" a several digit number which they say you should record in case they ask you for it at some point in the future. But later on, when they ask for the code, you enter it and it doesn't work and they generate another code number and email it to you and once again you can't access your email.
The first reaction is to think that they are trying to get rid of customers. But, (and I have no computer expertise-that is a given) I assume they are trying to protect against hackers trying to use your email. I get random checks much less frequently now from Outlook, maybe because I have gone through their "give us back the number we just sent you" process so many times over the past 6 weeks.
We were part of the Target escapade (info compromised from Tgiving to almost Christmas). Fortunately, we had only used Target's own card and not major credit cards there, but we'll take all the help we can get.
Maybe the new code system is what shinwmg is talking about- or maybe not.
