    Kenmore elite washer will not fill
    Turn on water to fill washer, pull button to turn on, we get nothing. Tried spin it spins.

    You either have a stopped up inlet screen, which is common, or you have a bad solenoid on the water valve set, or a problem with the water level control which has a hose attaching to tub going to a diaphragm that works a single-pole-double-throw switch which first sends power to the water solenoids and then to control panel to start the wash or rinse cycle. You will need a multi-meter to check most things except the inlet screens, which is probably your problem anyway.
