    File for a divorce via newspaper
    Do I file for a missing spouse divorce in the state of Texas if I know the city but I have no information on where about of the style can I file via newspaper of that county.

    No, you never file for divorce in the newspaper.

    You file for divorce in court, and if you can not find the other person, after doing the required search that your court requests, you may often use the newspaper as a method of "service" or notification. The court will have specific wording and specific news papers that must be used.

    It is much more complicated and costs a lot of additional money to do it this way.

    As noted you don't file in a newspaper. However most states have relatively inexpensive no fault divorces. You will have to show that you attempted to serve notice on your spouse and that may include a newspaper ad.
