    What do I do?
I have a 1099-MISC for non employee compensation(box 7). The IRS said I have to fill out a schedule C,C-EZ,and SE for social security and medicare. I downloaded all the forms, and I do not know what applies to me. I used no expenses, made a 100% profit, and I'm not a minister. The work was for machine maintenance using only my own tools I have had for years. I made over 5,000 but there is nothing to deduct for any expenses. So what do you think is the best solution not to get audited?

Did you drive to perform the machine maintenance? If so, you can deduct the mileage at 44 cents a mile.
