    PeTh and low level drinking
I may have a PeTh and EtG test as early as 1/6.

    On 12/27 I had 3 glasses champagne.
On 12/28, I had 1 tequila drink and 2 glasses of champagne.
I'm on vacation and would like to continue having 1-2 drinks for 12/29-1/1. That would total 14 drinks in the 2 weeks before the test, and 16 drinks 3 weeks before the test.

My questions are- with my 6 drinks in 2 days am I already going to fail? If not am I relatively safe having 1-2 drinks per night? Does anyone know the lowest level of detection with low level drinking? I will not have any for the 4 days before my first possible test.

Thanks! (Please no lecture on abstinence)

Thanks for your quick response. Unfortunately, my question lies more in the peaks and troughs than just the averages. I wouldn't take the test until 4 days after I stop drinking again, so the total would a little under 200g. So my daily average is around 2, but that would only be for 6 days, or one per day if averaged over 14 days. Does anyone have information on that? Most of what I read says that around 3d/day or more intermittently is detectible, and 1 drink every day routinely will be positive.

    Thanks!

Why are you taking the test? Why are you trying to fool the purpose of the test? Are you indeed pregnant? What has your doctor said about what, how, and when you can drink?

    Peth and 4 days drinking
I had 3 drinks a day for 4 days. It will be 6 full days from the last drink that would be the earliest I could get tested. These drinks were always spread throughout the day. I am 5'7". I'm comfortable that my EtG will be fine but I'm worried that I will get randomly selected for a PEth this week or next.

Will this likely be positive? One thing I read was that the Peth concentration continues to rise after the last drink and peaks 3-6 days later.

What would be the earliest that I could comfortably have a clean peth? 4 weeks?

    Thanks!

I'm sorry, but we do not promote fooling a drug test on this site, therefore, even if we had the information you seek, it would be unconscionable to give you that information.

We won't tell you how to fool a test, or get away with drinking when you're obviously not supposed to be doing so.

Tal, I'm a bit confused by your post. Why do you keep asking if the OP is pregnant? I've read all her posts, and I don't see where she mentioned that she's pregnant. What am I missing?

You aren't missing anything at all, except for my own misinformation. Apologizes to all. I still won't help the OP cheat.

You may be clear for a ETG, but not the PETH.

@Alty and @talaniman: I didn't ask for advice on how to fool a test. You should reread my question, and maybe even peruse the rest of the topics under addiction that are primarily "will I pass" questions.

Does anyone else have any thoughts on whether I would pass the PEth?

PETH has a 1-4 week detection rate. Heavy drinking is not necessary to fail a PETH test.

I did read your question. You asked if you could continue drinking 2 or more drinks a day while on vacation, and still pass. In other words, you're not supposed to be drinking, but you want to, and you plan to continue, and you want to know when the cutoff is, when you have to stop drinking, so you can pass the test.

    That's fooling the test.

Not fooling the test would mean not drinking when you're not supposed to be.

How do you not see this as trying to fool the test?

Let me ask two questions that will clear this all up. What do you stand to lose if you fail? Why are you required to take these tests?

From the link I gave you from post#2,

An individual consuming 1 drink per day for 6-7 days will produce a positive result. PEth can be measured for 2-3 weeks following the most recent alcohol consumption.
