Maytag Dryer (MD-1?) - How do I disable the buzzer?
    Hey Hey!

I've got a Maytag dryer in my apartment, not sure about the model number but the Use and Care Guide we have says MD-1 at the top. It's a Heavy Duty, SuperSize Capacity, 7 cycle dryer...

Anyway, in the user guide it says that if we want to disable the buzzer that tells us when the clothes are done, we just have to flip the switch. There's even a picture of the switch on the control panel in the guide. Unfortunately there is no switch on our dryer. Just a knob for Temperature and a knob for timing.

I took the panel off the dryer, and I THINK I found the buzzer, but I don't know for sure... can someone take a look at this and tell me if I've got the right thing, and if so, what do I do to disconnect it??

If you know what I can do to make this thing stop buzzing PLEASE help! Thanks in advance for any replies!

Don't know if anyone else had a similar problem to this, but I disconnected the black and white wire running to the circled item in the picture above and it made the buzzer stop sounding near the end of the drying cycle. Now we can dry clothes late at night and not worry about waking anyone up!

    WOOHOO!
