    Septic tank construction
    Is it feasible / economical to build your own concrete septic tank. Need 1000-1500 gal tank but would build larger if better, 3 person residence, rural 15 acre. Would like to save a little, tanks 800-1000$ around here. Have backhoe and tractor available.

    More details please! Is this a new installation? Is the drain field in place? Since you have the means to install the tank. That's a huge savings up front.
    Have you checked on the cost of material? I will put up a diagram of a septic system so you can see what is required. You will also need 2 septic tees.
    You sound like you're on top of things and the things go right, you can take that vacation to Aruba with the savings. Please keep me informed of your progress. Good luck, Tom
