New shower... tile guy got pitch wrong!
We just spent months and tens of thousands of dollars renovating our master bath. Just took first shower in new bathroom and its like showering in a shower with a clogged drain! There is hardly any pitch at all in some places and the water pools badly. We have to clear the water with our foot or a squeegee. Before I go ballistic on our GC and tile guy, can they even fix this? What do I do now?

You did not test it after he finished ?

You call him back and tell him to fix it. Requires a lot of cost and work, but of course anything can be fixed

Sure they can fix it. You rip it out and have it done properly.

Sad to say but Brian is bang on. The tile floor should be taken up. If the plumber left the drain so high that the tile guy couldn't pitch to the drain. Then call the plumber back and have the drain lowered. Let me know how you make out. Good luck, Tom
