Most don't work. A stretch mark is almost like a scar. The skin is damaged and no crème will make them disappear. There are some that will mask them for a little bit or do something like that, but in the end you will see that they won't go away.

A lot of the marketing behind these creams and potions are that these are unsightly and need to go away because you're less of a person with them. You're ugly and no one will like you. You will die alone with your 57 cats and the only way people will know is that the cats are hungry after consuming your wrinkle stretch marked body. They give you poor selfesteem and poor selfimage on purpose and tell you that only their product will help you and solve these problems. You won't be beautiful without them.

The horrible truth is that, and the tabloids love these stories, everyone has stretch marks and lumps and bumps an divots and imperfections. I came across two examples that profoundly shocked me. The first was Sigourney Weaver in the first Aliens movie on Blu-Ray. In the last scene on the escape pod, she's in panties and tank top. You can see all her stretch marks on her hips. She was a slight woman in that movie. The second example was when I was at the strippers. The women, at least in my neck of the woods, are usually really svelt and toned, precious little fat and silicone where they wanted fat. And they all had slight cellulite on their thighs. They had no tummy fat, and were skinny, but they had the "fat girl" problem.

So the point of this is that it is better for you and your sanity to accept the flaws then throwing your money away on these beauty creams and potions. The only thing they lessen is the money in your wallet. All effects are illusionary and fleeting at best.

    Use your money wisely.

Ditto, except I will go so far as to say none of them work. And I am a woman with stretch marks. I have never bothered to buy any product because I know enough of the science behind stretch marks, and the reports about creams, to know that it's a waste of money.
