Do I need Redgard type coating over Denshield for tile showe?

I lined the floor and up the studs about 1 ft, built a cement shower floor and put other plastic on studs behind Denshield for walls. I plan to use Redgard type coating for corners and seems of Denshield. Do I need to coat the whole thing?
