    Do you need die electric unions on black steel pipe to galvanized pipe
    Are Die Electric unions needed on black steel gas piping when they are connected to galvanized pipe?

    No. Galvanized pipe is just zinc coated iron pipe and when you cut the threads it removes the galvanizing.
