Should I have him see a doctor for ED?
My husband is 30 we just got married in August. My husband gets hard but then goes soft right before we start having sex. Even when we were dating we would have this problem sometimes. Should I have him see a doctor? He says he thinks it's all in his head I just don't know how to fix it. Suggestions?

Doctor is a good start. It also could be stress related. You know these things don't work perfectly all the time.

When we first dated it would happen frequently but it hasn't happened in awhile until recently.. It's almost as if it happens then had a rolling effect for weeks.. I know he's embarrassed and I try to not make him feel bad.. it makes me feel bad too though like I'm doing something wrong.. even though I'm not.

There's a lot of reasons this could be happening and the doctor is the best person to rule some of them out or provide help. So don't hit the panic button just yet.

A doctor can rule out any physical reasons for his erectile dysfunction issues or maybe find that there are physical reasons.

Because ED is like a barometer of mens health sometimes... It would be a good idea that he be checked by a physician (including a complete physical and bloodwork) as it can be a result of other conditions that would be serious if left undiagnosed and untreated.

Like Diabetes or high blood pressure.

If he's lucky as has been mentioned previously... it might just be stress or exhaustion. But its best to have anything serious ruled out first.

At 30 he still feels invincible... but those can happen at any age... without warning.
