    Help my pug has a stroke.
    He is not very active and every time we touch him he screams on his head and shoulders.and he just stands there looking down.

    I highly doubt that your dog had a stoke. He may have, but I doubt it.

    From your description, it sounds as if he may have hurt his back. Bulging disks are very painful and can happen very suddenly.

    With that being said, keep him quiet, keep in in a crate and do not let him out without you there. Keep him from jumping or any other type of activity. Go see your vet FIRST THING tomorrow. The quieter you keep him, the less likely he will injure himself more.

    If it happens to be a stroke or any other type of ailment, keeping him quiet and in a dark, cool room will benefit him greatly.

    He really needs a vet. This is not something that will go away nor will there be an at-home treatment to help him. He needs a doctor.

H can someone tell me how long it takes for a dog to recover from a stroke, he has use of his limbs, he has lost his bark and picks at his food. The only sign of a stroke was unusual behavior and walking funny. He has been put on half an asprin by the vet and another tablet twice a day.
