    Raising basement shower
We've had drainage problems ever since we replaced our basement shower (which was raised up several inches) with one that is flush with the basement floor. How would we go about raising the shower?

    Hi elpdan

I don't think raising the shower is the issue. If raising the shower was an issue you would find water standing in the shower all the time... ;)

More likely is that the drain line is clogged. Snake the drain using an electric drain cleaning tool and run hot water while you use the snake and you should see things improve greatly.
