    I moved out of my girlfriends apartment 7 years ago. I notified the property manager
    I moved out of my ex's apartment 7 years ago. I notified the property management firm that ran her unit of my departure. I even got back my half of the security deposit now there evicting her and have my name on it also. What can I do

    You show up in court on the court date and inform them that you moved out of the property 7 years ago. You show them some kind of proof of your current address and if you have any proof that they returned your share of the security deposit, you show them that too. Then you request that this matter be dismissed as it pertains to you.
