Buzz-free dimmer? Flat exterior switch? And do remotes emit RF when no operating?
I need a way to turn on and off lights that's not a switch box. I have a wire from where a switch box once was to an exterior dimmer. The dimmer buzzes slightly when lights are on. I only use the dimmer for on/off.
    1. Does someone know a dimmer that won't buzz at all?
    2. If I replace this with a remote control switch, will its radio/microwave frequency signals be disseminated all the time, or just when I want to turn on or off the lights?
    3. If the answer on remote please me (no RF signal when not being turned on or off) does someone know a brand that attaches pleasingly to the wall, mimicing for example a flat wall switch? I'd lose a portable remote.
    Thank you.
