    Am I pregnant?
Hi. I have been on microgynon 30 for 4 months and just got off it approx. a month ago and now trying to get pregnant. The past 1.5 weeks we have been having sex every single day. I have been having tender nipples, diaharrea, urinating more often- and needing to go right away, tired, and aggitated the past few days. I've also been having a lot of mucus come out on the tissue when wiping, I'm suppsed to get my period in a week. What can it be? I would like to think pregnancy but I'm also considered overweight. Is it possible maybe its from being off the pills? Getting period soon? I never felt like this before.

You just got off hormonal birth control, your body is going to require time to readjust. Part of the mechanism of hormonal birth control is to partially convince your body it's pregnant so that it doesn't release an egg and the cervical mucus is thicker slowing down sperm from getting past.

What you're probably seeing and feeling is just your body adjusting to being off birth control. The surest sign of pregnancy is a missed period. The best time to take a home pregnancy test is two weeks after you missed your period. Until then it is a waiting game. As well you could get pregnant quickly or it could take a while. It is about timing and odds and even the most fertile couple could take a few months to over a year to get pregnant.

    Good luck.
