Honeywell rth6450 thermost
I am replacing old therm with the 6450. My old thermo has a wire going to an E terminal (emergency heat). The conventional wiring diagram in Honeywell installation guide for the 6450 (p22) does not have an E terminal. I do not have a heat pump. Where to hook the E wire?

Installed a 3M-30 programmable thermostat over the summer , the AC works fine , the fan works , but the heat does not work . The thermostat clicks as if the heat kicked in but it does not come on .
The old thermostat was Ritemp brand I have 7 wires black, white, {grey marked C} orange, yellow, red, and a light blue. Can you assist me with a wiring diagram. Thanks Vince
