I can't really remember, but I was under a lot of stress last month, there was a death in the family. I haven't been feeling very different just very tired had sore breasts for a few days. last night I had brown discharge when I wiped. haven't taken a pregnancy test yet because I don't want to be pregnant. today I have mild cramps as if my period is about to start. Any chance it could be something else and not pregnancy! Please help! haven't had any discharge since last the one time last night and it's been about a month or so since I've had sex.

The answer is the same for every woman:
Your symptoms can mean a period is coming.
They can mean a skipped or very light period.
They can mean you are pregnant, even with a light period.
They can mean something totally unrelated.

Hopefully the stress you were under is messing with your menstrual hormones, but take a HPT just for peace of mind.

I'd say to be absolutely sure just see your doc and that should answer your questions
