    Could I have liver disease?
I currently have bronchitis and I was looking up what low oxygen levels look like in relation to fingernails. I then ran across a article saying that your fingernails can be clues to health issues. Well on the list is terry's nail which I've had for about 10 years. I never thought anything about it until now. One of the primary diseases that causes it is liver disease. Well, symptoms of liver disease are fatigue, nausea, vomiting, jaundice, and itching especially the palms and feet and it's the worst at night. I don't have jaundice, but I have all of the other symptoms. By that I mean I experience some form of nausea every day and vomit just about everyday. Not sure if heartburn is a sign, but I have that just about everyday too. Also, I constantly feel like I haven't slept in years. Oh course it's worse because of my bronchitis, but I always feel fatigued even if I just woke up. I can't remember the last time I was full of energy. But also and actually believe it or not the most annoying symptom is the itching. I literally feel like I'm going to scratch my hands and feet off. There is nothing I can do to get relief. Not even anti itch medications work. Do I need to be concerned?

Self diagnoses from the internet is NEVER a good idea, you need to consult with your own medical practitioner.

Of course you are tired all the time - oxygen isn't getting exchanged easily in your lungs. You haven't said what is the cause of your bronchitis. Do you smoke?

Do you have regular dental exams? (I had chronic bronchitis that was from a jaw infection under a crown, believe it or not, and my bronchitis went away within 3 days of getting that tooth out.)

If you smoke, there is no point in discussing this further. Go through hell and high water to quit, starting with the patch.
