    I am replacing mercury thermostat with honewell RtHL2401C only auxiliary heat works
    I am replacing a mercury thermostat with Honeywell RTHL2401C. Auxiliary heat is the only heat that will work. Is it a programming problem or a wiring problem?

    Hard to tell. Did you follow the wiring instructions which came with the stat?
