    Probation
I am on probation for owi and have completed all probation requirements besides twice a month drug/alcohol testing. I have done 7 out of 12 months. It is very difficult because I have to drive over 30min to get to the testing site. I have asked my po of I can go to another testing company closer to my home and she has said no. I have multiple issues that make it difficult to make it out there although I have. Should I ask to have my probation transferred to the county I live in? Or ask to speak to her supervisor ?

    Hello A:

They can make your life even WORSE of a living hell, if you poke at them.. The good news is, you're short. You've done 7 months of it. Keep your head down, and do the remaining 5.

I really don't want to poke at her and make things worse, but this is random testing if I don't make it to a test I could get a violation and I'm trying to prevent that before it happens. I have mentioned it a few times even found a testing center a few miles from my home and she just blows me off.. Just don't know if there is a good way to try and get this resolved besides just hoping I can make it there

    Hello again, A:

Yeah. They're A$$HOLES! And IF you had a long time to go, I'd tell you NOT to lay down for them, and I'd tell you HOW to get what you want... I'd tell you how to protect yourself from retaliation, too.

    But, you don't.

I agree, with 5 months, it could take 2 or 3 to get a transfer approved. And during that time, they will most likely look for any tech violation and reasons to make it tough on you.

With such a short time, just do it and get it over with

Thank you for the advice. I guess I will just have to suck it up and try to find a way to get through it. I am a single mother and work long hours with multiple medical problems and only a half working car most the time . Trying to find rides at times w all this going on is just more than I can handle.. Sorry just venting cause its so frustrating to know I could violate at anytime if I don't make it there
