How many drapery panels should I buy for sliding doors 106" and panels are 54" wide.
I'm in a quandary whether to buy 4 or 6 drapery panels for my sliding doors. They slide from right to left and I've measured them at 106 inches. The drapes I want are 54 inches wide. I will be hanging them with drapery rings. Will someone with more knowledge about this than me please help me with this. Thank you so much.

I'd get 4, for just about double the width.
I'd only buy 6 if they are very thin cloth, like sheers.
It depends a bit on how much curtain rod will go past the doors, so that you can open the drapes all the way without blocking the view. Too much bunching and it looks too crowded.
It also depends on whether or not the drapes come already pleated at the tops, and what the width at the top is. I assume that that would be stated.

If they are pleated at the top, then they are made at 54" width however the drapes to be hung with rings are very rarely pleated.

I bought just one panel to see what it looked like. It's not pleated... so I'm thinking maybe 5 panels instead of 4... what is your opinion?

Sorry if I sound a bit "dumb" here... but it's been a very long time since I've purchased drapes and I just want to get it right.

I thought you were constrained by ordering from a catalog, but it sounds like you can buy them locally, so sure, buy 4 more, and you can always return the 5th one if 4 total look full enough. (You didn't say how thick the material is nor did you say how much room on the sides you have, so it's difficult to know what's best.)

No... not a catalog... I have to buy them online. I bought just one panel online, just picked it up, love the color, but see they are not pleated.

You can see them I cant, but use your best judgment. I have the panels on rings in my bedroom, but I only have two, which is enough for me. If you are hanging them from rings, you don't need a lot. I would go with four.

Thanks... that helps a lot. Again, sorry if I sound dumb about this, but it's the first time in a long time since I've purchased drapes and I want them to be just right.

I don't know if I used the correct term. Anyway, I am looking to buy a replacement of the plastic track that is attached to the top of the door frame. It holds the sliding screen door rollers in place. I have already tried Lowe's and Home Depot. Neither of them carry this item. The guy at Lowe's...
