    Blood clot dislodged while sleeping?
I had a tooth extraction yesterday afternoon. I've followed directions to a T, but I just woke up at 3am because I had a clump of blood in my mouth. My head was propped up on pillows while sleeping, I haven't smoked, sucked through a straw, spit, or even brushed my teeth per dentist orders. Did I dislodge the clot in my sleep? Anything I should do now?

If you followed all directions it probably was not the clot from your extraction, but just random bleeding from the site. Do you have any pain ?I would suggest calling your dentist, but if you look where the extraction is, and you see dark matter, the clot is still there.

Hey friend, don't fear about dry socket.. I had a very big research over dry sockets.. There is only 5 out of 100 will get affected.. You follows the instruction very well.. Just keep concentrate on it.. You may resume your normal life within 10 days.. Hope that every thing will be fine..
