    Asking for money back
    A friend gave me money for helping him through a hard time and there was no agreement to pay back. He is now broke and threatening a summons to get money back. Could he win?

    He could, if the court believes it was a loan and not a gift. Doubtful, with what little information you gave us, but possible.
