    3 day notice
Hello I just have a question I was served a three day notice thurs night when do I start counting the three days ? And is it even valid when it says I owe 2790 but have given them 1500 which they took and cashed I gave them this on the 7th the 3 day notice was given to me on the 10th that's when they cashed the money orders which I checked. I have another 800 to give them I've called the rental office and went over there no one was there I've sent letters and left messages before the notice was sent to me ?

... I was served a three day notice thurs night when do I start counting the three days?.
    Thursday night of course.

    Friday night - 1
    Saturday night - 2
    Sunday night - 3.

    Simple as that.

Now, what was this 3-day notice for? What will happen Sunday night (or Monday morning, probably)?

A three day notice is a pay or quit. It means that you have to pay in full by the deadline or vacate. If you don't pay or vacate, then their next step is to go to court for an eviction order.

Yes its valid. Even though you made a partial payment, at the time the letter was written that's what you owed.

Even if it was wrong, as long as you are behind its valid.

Okay this helps just been getting conflicting info some say that when I was given the notice if they accept the money that the eviction is no longer valid ( and that they shouldn't have excepted it cause it was partial payment ) but because they did its now invalid I've been calling them before it got to this and even left numerous messages she won't call me back I have sent certified letter to make sure she got it and she did . Before it got to that point they sent me a regular letter saying to call them and make arrangements and let them know my intentions I did all this I even went there but she wasent there .

Remember this was not an eviction order but a vacate notice. It is the first step in the eviction process. If you do not pay in full or vacate by the deadline, then their next step is to go to court for an eviction order. This will involve scheduling a hearing. If you pay in full anytime prior to the hearing, you can forestall the eviction.
