Does a step daughter have rights if she lived in her stepfathers home for 40 years
I have lived with my step father in his home from 6yrs to 44yrs of age. He has one daughter that does not live at resident. If my childhome is left to her, do I have any rights to the property or the assets in the home?
Also, I was never legally adopted. On many occasion he calls me his daughter
And my social security card card carries huin

If he wrote a will leaving the home to her, you are not entitled to it or any other assets.
The law might be different if he didn't have a will, and would depend on where you live.
But since you were not adopted by him, the chances are that you wouldn't inherit anything, regardless of where you live.
Are you not able to talk about this with him? I realize that it is a sensitive subject, but there are ways to bring it up delicately.

It is unlikely a step child would have any inheritance rights. Especially not if there is a will with specific bequests.

Seldom are step children given any rights, if he presented you as daughter, changed your name, signed government papers saying he was father, your attorney may try and make a case.

But he needs to do everything in a will, if he is not already dead.

... my social security card card carries huin
Huh? A Social Security card wouldn't have any name on it but yours. Does "huin" mean "his surname" perhaps? It wouldn't make any difference probably, but I'm curious what you are trying to say.
