    Leak in 2 story house
I have the same problem with my tow story house which is only 4 years old. I have had the plumber come out 3 times already and dished out over 1500 dollars already and they find nothing. They are investigating one of the elbow pipes just above the kitchen where when the toilet flushes in comes down and the piping turns. They thing it is a builder design flow in which the elbow piping is to small and too sharp of a 90 degree turn and toilet paper ( which we use just enough to wipe) is not making the tight turn and building up there. After they come out and snake a little it clears it for about 2 weeks then it happens all over again. The first time I waited for 2 weeks and had a contractor come out and rework the kitchen ceiling and just after it was almost complete it happened again. Thankfully the insurance company classified it as still the same claim. So like you I am back to square one and waiting to find out if this 90 degree elbow is the problem. If so, the whole plumbing will have to be redone to replace a longer elbow which will be even more extremely costly.

    Sincerely,
    Very Frustrated in Phx!

P.S. Anyone know how to apply for any funding out there some where for financing help (besides a hefty, high interest bank loan)?

    Hi Gcantu

Is there a question in there? Can we help with anything or are you just venting?
